It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Jeffrey of Black Mountain, North Carolina, who passed away on October 14, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jean Jeffrey to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Barrett and Sadie Riedesel (Haye); her husband John R. Jeffrey; her brother Rev. Edward Riedesel; and her daughter Jill Berry.
She is survived by: her stepfather Norman Riedesel; her daughters, Dona Cavanaugh (Joe) of Richmond, OH, Beth Alban (Tim) of Massillon, OH and Ruth Shivers (Tim) of Black Mountain, NC; her sisters, Elizabeth Truax of Toronto and Charlotte McMurray of Charles City, VA; her son-in-law Mike Berry; and her grandchildren, Lauren Barker, Ben Wilson, Emily Clark, Leah Cavanaugh, Jeff Berry, Travis Alban, Tyler Alban, William Shivers and Sadie Shivers. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
