She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Wood and Annie Goode Wood; her daughter Terry Padgett; her sister Mary Ellen Woody; and her grandson David Padgett.
She is survived by: her husband Loren Moore; her son-in-law Bobby Padgett; her siblings, Patricia West, H. C. Wood, Carolyn Ammons, Betty Holt (Larry) and Abby Norton; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Greene (Chris), Daniel Saenz, Jason Rubio (Victoria), Rebecca Wittek, Dustin Padgett, Dylan Padgett and Sarah Bennett. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Black Mountain United Methodist Church (101 Church St, Black Mountain, NC 28711). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
