With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Henry Dayton Wilde Jr. (Black Mountain, North Carolina), born in Houston, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 3, 2024 at the age of 93. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Dayton and Louise Key "Easy" Wilde; his brother William Key "Bill'Wilde; his grandson Wilson Wallace Wilde; and his great grandchild Arthur Wilde Zilkha.
He is survived by: his wife Martha B. Wilde; his grandchildren, Henry Dayton Wilde III (Susan), Ben (Jordan) and Martha Wilde; his children, David C. Wilde (Catherine), Janie Zilkha (Daniel), James W. K. Wilde, Mimi Seely (Matt) and Allison Wilde; his brother Carlton D. Wilde; his siblings-in-law, Ann Wilde and Ned Brockenbrough (Jean); and his great grandchildren, Genevieve, Marguerite Zilkha, Lawson and Gray Wilde. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, their family.
