She was predeceased by: her parents, Della Weaver Hart Reece and Mack Hart; and her siblings, David Hart, Bill Hart, Hazel Hyatt and Lorraine Biddix.
She is survived by: her children, Allan Whitson (Robin) of Loudon, TN, Jerry Whitson (Helen) of Charlotte and Glenda Borner (Eric) of Black Mountain; her grandchildren, Laura Bruck (Aaron) of Vincennes, IN, Daniel Whitson (Jennifer) of Sweetwater, TN, Sydney Whitson of Charlotte and William Whitson of Charlotte; and her siblings, Robert Hart (Rachel) of Black Mountain and Jeanette Hart of Marion. She is also survived by six great grandchildren; and several nieces and n nephews.
