It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glenda Gail Bartlett Mundy of Black Mountain, North Carolina, who passed away on April 27, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Glenda departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Glenda may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Glenda leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dallas Bartlett and Hettie Bartlett of Black Mountain; and her husband John Ervin Mundy. She is survived by: her son John Douglas Mundy (Susan Dean Mundy) of Asheville; her grandchildren, Jordan Elizabeth Gail Mundy and John Douglas Mundy; her sons, Junior and James David Mundy (Tressy Moore Mundy) of Murphy; her grandchildren, Brooke Mundy Black (Spencer Black) and Bailey Mundy; her sister Judy Bartlett Grogan (Harold Grogan) of Asheville; her niece Rhonda Turpin (Jim Turpin); her nephew Jason Grogan; and also Jazlynn Grogan.
