He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Ridge of Washington and Sarah Maggie Turner Ridge; his son Trevor Ridge; and his siblings, Warren Ridge, Geraldine Bagwell and Emily Smeal.
He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann Pritchard Ridge; his children, Gary Wayne Ridge, II (Shannon) of Mountain Home, NC, Amanda Sangid of Montford, TN, Amber Chasteen (Lewis) of Asheville, NC and Chelsie Ridge of Swannanoa, NC; and his sisters, Barbara Elgin of Greenville, SC and Susan Schofield of Hickory Tavern, SC. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
