Evelyn Bannerman Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evelyn Bannerman of Black Mountain, North Carolina, born in McKenney, Virginia, who passed away on November 16, 2020 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Evelyn Bannerman to pay them a last tribute.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Glenn; her parents, Mildred Butterworth and Frank Butterworth; her siblings, Billy Boy and Nancy; her children, R. Craig Bannerman (Jane) of Black Mountain, NC, Reynoldson G. Bannerman of Salem, OR, Beth Gunn (Bruce) of Swannanoa, NC and Lee Ann Bannerman (Jasper Gilbert) of Swannanoa, NC; her grandchildren, Marnie, Brooke, Megan, Levi, Justin, Tyler, Austin, Casey, Tamara and Mary Evelyn; her great grandchildren, Luca, Ellis, Bowen, Kenleigh, Hannah and Winnie; and also March. She was also cherished by children, many grandchildren, and even two great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be given to either Black Mountain Presbyterian Church or Re: create (Arts, Recreation, and Worship conference: https: //http://www.re-create.cc), Penland Family Funeral Home is honored to be assisting the Bannerman family with arrangements.
