It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellen Yow Woods (Black Mountain, North Carolina), born in Asheboro, North Carolina, who passed away on March 23, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter E. Yow and Ruth B. Yow; and her brothers, Richard, Walter and Philip.
She is survived by: her daughter MaryEllen. She is also survived by four nieces and three nephews along with their children and grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Harwood Home For Funerals (208 W State St, Black Mountain, NC 28711).
