He was predeceased by: his parents, David Johnson Mackey and Helen Weaver Stepp. He is survived by: his children, Demetria Michelle Weaver of Concord, NC and David Michael Weaver, Jr. (Sabrina) of Concord, NC; the mother of his children Cynthia Inez Weaver; his grandchildren, Jeremiah Weaver, Malakai Weaver and Nylah Weaver; his siblings, Renee Weaver and Jeffrey Weaver; his aunt Allavertta Kirkland; his nephews, Tiyon Weaver (Erica) and Terran Reid; his great-nephew Kendrick Weaver; and his cousins, Chad Kirkland and Tiwan Twitty (Nettie). He is also survived by cousins and friends.
