It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Lee Ray of Black Mountain, North Carolina, born in Princeton, West Virginia, who passed away on March 1, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jarvie Lee and Clarice Price Ray of Princeton, WV.; his son Brad Lee Ray; his grandson Daniel Lee Ray; and his sister Freda Wimmer.

He is survived by: his daughter Diana Wright (Marty) of Swannanoa; his granddaughter Anne Wright of Swannanoa; and his brother Thomas Ray (Carol) of Rockmart, GA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
