She was predeceased by: her father Rufus Brown; her husband William "Bill" Harrison White; her son Terry L. White; and her sisters, Mary Brown, Betty McDonald and Geneva Brown Morris.
She is survived by: her children, Mark White (Delores) and Joyce Greene (Joe) of Black Mountain; her daughter-in-law Patricia White (Terry) of Marion; her siblings, Rufus J. Brown of Nebo, Lucille White of Swannanoa, Carnilla Jones and John Brown (Irene) of Black Mountain; her grandchildren, Terry J. Robinson (Meghan Wells), Klayton White, Hunter White, Samantha Vess and Krystal Roland (Frank); and her great grandchildren, Nathan White and Lane Roland.
