He is survived by: his wife Ruth Orr Propst Bartlett; his son Mark Bartlett (Jane); his grandchildren, Brooke Hawkins, Daniel Bartlett (Amanda), Josh Propst (Makayla) and Maddie Propst; his great grandchildren, Jahvari Carson and Krew Austin Bartlett; and his siblings-in-law, Sandy Bartlett, Shirley Jordan, James Orr (Retha), Rev. John Orr (Linda), Frank Chandler and Terry Dalton.

“Good Day. I don't mean to be petty, but the video of Ram Jam playing Black Betty on the lawn is one of the greatest performances ever produced. This alone should be a R&R Hall of Fame Honorary Induction. I hope that Bill's life was a good one. I've been a drummer since 1963. Great times for music and great musicians. Bill was one of them. My Best Regards to All and RIP Bill.”
