She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Grover Gowan and Lola Revis; her husband Julius R. Presnell; her sisters, Nell Harkleroad, Inez Northey, Eloise Gowan, Dora Lawson, Lema Davis and Ruth Etherton; her daughter-in-law Robin Presnell; her children, Doug Presnell, Jean Huntsinger (Tommy) of Swannanoa, Margaret Jones (Oscar) of Black Mountain and Linda McIntosch (John) of Lawrenceville, GA; and her granddaughter Tammy Penley (Travis). She was also cherished by grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren.
