She was predeceased by: her parents, Roman Lucas and Daisy Lucas; and her niece Kristen Beach. She is survived by: her husband Earl Wilson; her daughter Melanie Leggett Scannell (Tom) of Raleigh; her sisters, Gail Lucas Batchelor (Dennis) of Mooresville and Sonia Lucas Beach (Sid) of Sims; her grandchildren, Jacob Scannell of Charlotte, Lauren Beach of Sims and Katie Scannell of Raleigh; and also Josh Preskitt. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great-great nieces.
