He is survived by: his former wife Judith Alexander; his wife Judy; his children, Andy Smith (Shelby) of Columbus, Ohio, Josh Smith (Fernanda) of Myrtle Beach, SC and Diane Jordan (Jason) of Franklin, NY; his grandchildren, Malorie Jordan, Amber Jordan, Austin Smith, Camden Smith, Isaac Jordan and Bodie Jordan; his brother Jim Smith (Nancy) of Cleveland, NY; his nephew Jim Smith, Jr.; and his nieces, Betsy Adragna, Samantha Alexander, Jessi Casey, Dana Morgan and Kelly Cleaveland.
A Celebration of the Life of Don Smith will be held at the Ocean View United Methodist Church, 8400 East Oak Island Drive, Oak Island, NC on Friday, November 29th at 11:00 a.m. Any memorial contributions in Don's name may be made to the Hope Lodge in Greenville, NC where Don and Judy stayed for seven weeks during his radiation and chemo treatments.
