She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Sheppard and Edna Hargett Sheppard; her son Glen "Shep" Parnell; her grandson Cameron Parnell; and her siblings, Dorris Shepard, Paul Sheppard and Brenda Sheppard.
She is survived by: her children, Judi Sheppard Shaw of Troy, Barbara S. Haywood of Troy and David Parnell (Honor) of Ft; her siblings, Nancy Allred (Donald) of Candor, Ronald Shepard (Pearl) of Star, Donald Sheppard (Joyce) of Troy, Frank Sheppard (Lynn) of Mt. Airy and John Sheppard of Troy; her grandchildren, Brandi Hernandez (Denny), Colby Parnell (Amanda), Joseph McCurry (Andrea) and Robert Haywood; and her great grandchildren, Parker Gregory, Wesley, Gunner Hernandez and Keaton Parnell. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
