It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rebecca Garner Shiver of Biscoe, North Carolina, born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on January 8, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elzie J. Garner and Callie Grayson Garner; and her husband Warren Shiver. She is survived by: her children, Kayren Brantley (Joe) of Troy, Ted Shiver of Dallas, Jane Thompson (Ronnie) of Evans, GA and Nancy Paxton (Roger) of Norman; her daughter-in-law June Shiver of Dallas; her grandchildren, Geoffrey Shiver (Stephanie), Blaise Shiver, Kathy Lee (Rich), Will Brantley (Julianne) and Kirstie Connor (Casey); her great grandchildren, Luke Shiver, Emma Shiver and Lucy Connor; and her pet Little Bit.
