He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo LuQuire and Helen LuQuire; and his brothers, Charles and Tommy. He is survived by: his wife Jane Navy LuQuire; his daughters, Melissa Brant (Gary) of Mebane, NC and Laura Wrenn (Jordan) of Wake Forrest, NC; his grandchildren, Meredith Lineback (BJ) of Kernersville, NC, Matthew Brant (Ashley) of Cedar Grove, NC, Katy Brant (Chris Norris) of Mebane, NC, Sarah Jane Wrenn and Will Wrenn of Wake Forrest, NC; and his great grandchildren, Dawson, Chandler Lineback, Naiomi Snead, Xander Totten, Payton Triplett, Leah Brant and McKinley Norris.
