He was predeceased by: his parents, Erskin Benjamin, Sr. and Dora Wallace Benjamin; and his wife Carolyn Benjamin. He is survived by: his daughter Alah Daywalt (Kevin); his stepgrandchildren, Jeremy Daywalt and Eddie Daywalt; his adoptive daughter Cindy Geffen; and his sister Peggy Maness (Melvin). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
