He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Allen and Bertie Dunn Allen; his grandson Jacob Tyler Allen; and his siblings, Robert Allen, Clinton Allen, Walter Allen, Frances Jane Allen, Shirley Marie Adkins and Gladis Magdaline Sheffield.
He is survived by: his son Donald Ray Allen Jr. (Ginger); his grandchildren, Dylan Allen and Rylee Raegan Allen; and his siblings, Thomas Allen, Bill Allen, Clyde Allen, Gary Allen, Junior Allen, Stevie Allen, Linda Greene, Annie Mae Perkins and Annie Grace Lemonds.
