He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Reid Clifford and Foy Margaret McCaskill Privett; his son Leon Rothe; his siblings, Clifford Privette and Marie Meacham; his wife Wanda Whittaker Privett; his children, Danny Privett of Star, Sam Rothe of Illinois, Jane Gaddis of Siler City and Lisa Rothe of Calabash; and his siblings, Johnson Privett, Tim Privett of Candor and Elaine Privette of Candor. He was also cherished by 14 Grandchildren; 15 Great-grandchildren.
