Thompson (Charles) of Troy, Patricia G. Lewis (Cecil) of West End, Liz English (Johnny) of Pinehurst and Barney M. Greene (Margaret) of Candor; his siblings, Lela G. Thompson (Bill) of Biscoe and Clayton Greene (Cozette) of Candor; and his grandchildren, John Thompson (Olafia), Chad Thompson, Janet Greene, Alan Greene, Jason Lewis (Jill), Jennifer Lewis and Kellie Bennett (Adam). He was also cherished by 11 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren.
