We are sad to announce that on February 12, 2020, at the age of 88, William James (Beulaville, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albro James and Julie James; his wife Helen; his siblings, Maurice James, Austin James and Helen Horne; and his nephews, Cary James and Johnnie James.
He is survived by: his children, Amanda Eason (Rob) of Atlantic Beach, Marilyn Blalock (Randy) of Farmville and Gary James (Patti) of Surf City; his brother Orlan James (Joyce); his grandchildren, Tom Eason, Gretchen Jeffers (Jack) of Raleigh, Josh Blalock (Samantha), Emily Heath (Landon) of Farmville, Westley James (Charla) of Holly Ridge and Tricia James of Kinston; and his brother-in-law Bobby Lanier (Faye). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
