He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Ann Gresham; and his granddaughter Rachel Lynn Fussell. He is survived by: his daughters, Wanda Simmons of Kenansville, NC and Lynn Fussell of Kenansville, NC.; his grandchildren, Nathan Simmons (Liz), Courtney Rooks (David), Kaitlyn Rivenbark (Matthew) and Lindsey Brennan (Tanner); and his great grandchildren, Alyna Rooks, Paisley Rooks, Zachary Rooks, Hayes Rivenbark and Rowan Rivenbark.
