She is survived by: her stepfather William Whidbee; her children, Shannon Whidbee, Kandes Whidbee (Tyrell), Jaleesa Wilson of Durham, NC, Bryan Whidbee of Elizabeth City and Richard Whidbee of Elizabeth City; her siblings, Danny Whidbee, Sr., Lonnie Parker, Sr. of Triangle and Lori Whidbee of Zebulon, NC; and her grandchildren, Christian, Lauren, Kari and Ian. She is also survived by many cousins and friends.
