She was predeceased by: her father James Bowen Sr.; her husband Larry Donnell Kelly; and her sister Catrenia Bowen Hall. She is survived by: her mother Lillian Gertrude Bowen; her siblings, James Davis Bowen Jr. (Deborah), Lillian Bowen Whitfield, Paula Bowen Crawford, Beatrice Bowen Savage (Lynn), Marian Bowen Fort (Dexter), Harold Keith Bowen (Shelia) and Kelvin Bowen (Cindy); her brother-in-law Tony Hall; her mother-in-law Mary Lillie Kelly; and her siblings-in-law, Lesie Mae Bowen, Sandra Bowen, Fred Crawford III and Charles Whitfield.
Viewing was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:50 PM at the Church of God and True Holiness (375 Joe Hop Williams Rd, Beulaville, NC 28518). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at the Halls Family Cemetery.
