He was predeceased by: his parents, Lemmie Taylor and Evelyn Taylor (Wanda Taylor); and his siblings, Alavia Kennedy, Brenda Best, Gene and Bobby Taylor.
He is survived by: his daughters, Wendy Taylor-Philyaw (Tony) of Richlands, NC and Ronda Taylor Moody (Kevin) of Richlands, NC.; his sister Joyce Holland (Art) of Charlotte, NC.; and his grandchildren, Hannah Moody of Richlands, Harlee Moody of Richlands and Jeremiah Moody of Richlands.
