He is survived by: his wife Kathi Lanier; his daughters, Crissy Lanier and Heather Mendoza (Pedro Mendoza Jr.); his mother Helen Futrell Lanier; and his grandchildren, Jonathan Lanier, Jayden Roberts, Lucia Mendoza and Pedro Mendoza III.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the River of Life Church (2460 Gum Branch Rd, Jacksonville, NC 28540).
