He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Jay and Merle Mae Yow (Briggs); and his son-in-law Timothy Roline. He is survived by: his wife Sue Koontz of Fountaintown; his daughters, Virginia "Ginny" Stewart (Jerry) of East Bend, NC and Marcia Roline of Bemidji, MN.; and his siblings, Rebecca Crabill (Ralph) of Strasburg, VA, Carl Yow, Jr. (Darlene), Lena Grant (William) of Mission, TX and John Yow III (Connie) of Carrollton, VA.
