He was predeceased by: his parents, Tapp Turner and Ruth Bishop Turner; his son Steve Turner; and his siblings, Parker Turner, Edward Turner, Harvey Turner, Kenley Turner, Doris Howard, Isabell Wheeler, Gladys Culbertson and Kathy Jarman.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Boyette Turner of Pink Hill, NC; his daughter Angi T. Kennedy (Joey) of Pink Hill, NC; his daughter-in-law Tonia Turner; his siblings, Estelle Hudson of Pink Hill, NC and Johnny Turner (Madeline) of Jacksonville, NC.; and his grandchildren, Justin Kennedy (Ashley), Karigan Kennedy (Jordan), Colton Kubacki, Guadalupe Garnica (Nicolas), Aaron Garnica (Nuha) and Yesenia Sanderson.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Community Funeral Home (840 W Main St, Beulaville, NC 28518). A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mercer Family Cemetery (492 Church Rd, Pink Hill, NC 28572).
