He was predeceased by: his brothers, George Donald Blanchard and Henry Graham Blanchard. He is survived by: his siblings, Betty Rooks of Rocky Point, NC, Fay Ezzell (Lloyd) of Harrells, NC. and Ray Blanchard (Beverly) of Newport News, VA.; and his grandchildren, Brittany Blanchard, Savanna Blanchard, Lilian Penuel and Brooke Rouse.
