He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Davis; his children, James Al Davis, Jr., Shawn Davis, Timothy Davis and Vanessa Gipson; his siblings, Milton Davis, Ronnie Davis (Valerie), John Earl Davis, Mary Elizabeth Stroud and Ann Davis; and his siblings-in-law, Daniel Pearsall, Morris Smith, Angela Newkirk (Earl), Jeanette Lawson (Willie) and Delorie McDoe. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
