He was predeceased by: his parents, Christine J. Kennedy and Gordon B. Kennedy. He is survived by: his siblings, Sally H. Weston (John) of Wallace, NC and Bennett Kennedy (Betty) of Wrightsville Beach, NC.; his nephews, Mark Houston, Ross Houston and Bennett Kennedy, III; and his niece Tisha Kennedy.
