It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Maready (Beulaville, North Carolina), born in Chinquapin, North Carolina, who passed away on February 14, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hayes Maready and Bessie Sholar Maready; his wife Margaret; and his siblings, Olen, Jeanette and Joyce.
He is survived by: his children, Julie Maready Venters (Ron) of Ayden and Douglas Gene Maready II (Christy) of Columbia, NC; his grandchildren, Gabe, Zoe and Jorja; his siblings, Eddie Maready of Beulaville, Geraldine Dickins of Wilmington and Edie Keyes (Shelva Brock) of Winston Salem; his niece Darla Baker (Doug); and also, Blake and Hayley Baker.
