He is survived by: his wife Donna Sholar Albertson of Beulaville, NC; his mother Faye Lanier Thigpen of Beulaville, NC; his sons, James Dylan Albertson (Katelan) of Beulaville, NC and David Lucas Albertson of Somervile, Mass.; his sisters, Joy Howard (Dexter) and Ellen Roberts; and his grandchildren, James Maddox Albertson, Isla Kate Albertson and Novalee Rose Albertson.
