It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bertie Blackburn Jr. (Beulaville, North Carolina), who passed away on November 16, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Beulah Miller Blackburn; and his siblings, Clara B. Matthews, Evelyn B. Summerlin, Frank and Ray Blackburn.
He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Whaley Blackburn of Beulaville, NC.; his children, John "Eric" Blackburn of Cecil, PA. and Dr. Mari Blackburn; and his siblings, Faye Wood and Paul Blackburn Graham Blackburn.
Due to Covid concerns the family will have a private graveside service with a public memorial service at a later date.
