He is survived by: his wife Christine McCray Hyman of Bethel, NC; his daughter Lashanda Hyman-Pittman of Bethel, NC; his stepchildren, Charles Ray Lewis (Mary) of Greenville, NC, Robert Lee Lewis (Cathy), Catherine Stokes of Danbury, CT, Edwana Williams, Eugenia McCray, Julia Brown of Glen Allen, VA, David McCray and Mamie McCray of Bethel, NC; his grandchild Amiyah Whitehead McCray; his siblings, Leroy Hy, Milton (Stephanie) of New Haven, CT, Linwood Hyman of Goosecreek, SC, Harvey Newton Jr. (Diane) of Wendell, NC., Dorothy Bruckett of Washington, DC, Rosa N Walker of Laurel and Patricia Perkins (Dennis) of Danbury, CT; and his siblings-in-law, Joseph McCray (Patricia) of New Haven, CT., Margaret Outlaw of New Haven, CT, Erma McAdory of Huntsville, AL and Deloris Lawson (Harold) of Glen Allen, VA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
