She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilburn Setzer and Effie Setzer; and her siblings, Verlin Setzer, Mildred Nelson, Gertrude Sheehan, Bessie Grooms, Sarah McMahan, Lucy Ward and Opal Mills.
She is survived by: her husband Samuel Russell; her son Kelly Russell; and her sister Jane Cable of Maggie Valley.
Due to covid concerns, the family has expressed that visitors wear masks during visitation and funeral services.
