She was predeceased by: her half-brother Calvin Baity; and her siblings, Wade Baity (Dorothy), Vatra Trantham, Cleo Everidge and Hazel Stevenson.
She is survived by: her husband Luther Sylvester Scott; her children, Janet Kay Scott McAllister and Ronald Edward Scott (Linda) of Winston-Salem; her grandchildren, Tammy McAllister of Lewisville, Teresa Hughes (Chris) of Raleigh, Jeff McAllister of Lewisville, Jody Scott Jenkins of Winston-Salem and Kelly Scott Hayes (Scott) of Winston-Salem; her great grandchildren, Savannah Jenkins, Chloe Jenkins, Jada Jenkins, Christina McAllister, Nicholas McAllister, Taylor Floyd, John Norman Hughes, Grayson Hughes, Dylan Floyd and Conner Hayes; her nieces, Elaine Norman (Arlis) and Becky Lewis (Jack); and her nephew Lee Pegram (Debbie). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
