He was loved and cherished by many people including: his brothers, Henry Goddard (Joann) of Columbus, Russell Goddard (Joanne) of Oak City, NC and Andrew Goddard (Dalphine) of Williamston, NC; his grandchildren, Julian Jackson, Morgan Jackson and Ashtyn Jackson; and his close friend Celestine Hill. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
