He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Johnson; his children, Joel Stephen Johnson (Angie) of Garland, NC, Denise Naugle of Bladenboro, NC, Alan Gell (Angel) of Bethel, NC, Amber Bigford (Jerry Chandler) of Goldsboro, NC, Frankie David (Nick) of Mooresville, NC., Athena Price (Jesse), Michelle Newsome (Larry), Charlotte Nowell (Michael), Chet Holding and Melanie Eichhorn (Stefan); his grandchildren, Marissia, Braydon, Blake, Paige, Dylan, Jackson, Brooke, Trinity, Sean, Mason, Austin, Braxton, Jacob, Brycen, Broden, Maddox, Charlynn, Willow and Braelyn; and his siblings, Merle Johnson (Marlene), Greg Johnson (Barbara), Deborah Kelley (Donald), Mary Edith McKnight (Floyd) and Gretta Jackson (Tommy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
