He was predeceased by: his parents, Reginald Lewis and Edrie Sawyer Shaw; his son James Stanley Lewis, Jr.; and his grandson Conner Lewis. He is survived by: his children, Lee Ann Lefkowitz (John) of Davie, FL, Tracie Garlow (Jay) of Mocksville, N. C., Todd E. Lewis of Bethel, Mark Lewis of Mocksville and Greg Lewis of Bethel; and his siblings, Mary Lee Cook, Betty Webster (Doc) and David Shaw (Cindy). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
