James Ronald Ragland Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Ronald Ragland of Bethel, North Carolina, who passed away on January 23, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Alexander and Beulah Fitzgerald Ragland of Gladstone; his siblings, Russell A. (Sonny), Kenneth A. Ragland, Raymond Ragland (Peggy), Shirley R. Wallace (Tommy) and Frances R. Mays (Elwood); his niece Tammy Ragland Black; and also Jennifer Ragland Evans (Jeff).
He is survived by: his significant other Jacqueline Nelson (Jacqui) of Bethel; his daughters, Jennifer Louise Ragland and Stephanie Ragland Stalls (Mitchell); his siblings, Patricia Ragland and William Ragland (Joan); and his grandchildren, Matthew Stalls, Meagan Stalls, Jack-Henry Evans, Jeffrey-Neil Evans and Jean-Luc Evans.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Peter Catholic Church (2700 E 4th St, Greenville, NC 27858). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
