He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Long and Lela Henson Long; and his sisters, Anna Mae Blaylock and Erma Lou Layman. He is survived by: his wife Betty Jo Gorrell; his children, Mitzi Warren (Daniel) of Canton, Lou Ann Allen (Brian) of Waynesville, Armon Long (Hilda) of Canton, Danny Long (Darlene) of Canton and Tommy Long (April) of Canton; and his brothers, J. M. of Canton and Norman Long of Canton. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren.
