She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie O. Ford and Edna Earle Jenkins Ford; and her siblings, Wilbur Ford, Ralph Ford, Thelma F. Malloy, Margaret F. Simpson, Elsie F. Andrews, Marjorie F. Nelson, Frances Ford and Hazel Ford.

She is survived by: her close friend Belinda Grimes. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
