With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolyn Apple Rees (Bethel, North Carolina), born in Greensboro, North Carolina, who passed away on July 4, 2019 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Neal Apple, Sr. and Mozelle Griswold Apple; her husband Samuel Rees, Jr.; her children, Dianne Rees Carroll and Robert Allen Rees; and her brother Charles Neal Apple, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Susan Rees Bolduc (Johnny) and Tommy Rees (Mandy); her grandchildren, Lisa Carroll Osborne, Jamie Carroll, Miranda Bolduc, John Bolduc, Samantha Bordeaux, Jessie Malpass, Jordan Grantham, Marissa Smart and Justin Ramirez; her brother Steve Apple of Oak Island; and her sisters-in-law, Eleanor Rees Jones of Southport and Suzzette Apple of Greensboro. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
