He was predeceased by: his parents, Lestus Roope and Eva Roope; and his brother Ulysee Roope. He is survived by: his wife Jean Roope; his daughter Carla Roope; his grandchildren, Mariam, Yousef and Yacoub Al-Masri; and his sister-in-law Delilah Roope.
