He is survived by: his parent Hattie Hoyle Downey; his wife Shirley Shields Downey; his son Billy Downey (Carol Ann); his grandchildren, Emma and Chloe; his brother Butch Downey (Diane); and his nieces and nephews, Lisa, Suzie, Joey, Mandy and Chip.
