He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Oates Parker; his sons, Geoffrey Oates (Kim) of Shelby, Walter Parker Jr. (Emily) of Sherrills Ford, Joshua Parker of Vale and Wesley Parker of Preston Parker; his mother-in-law Brenda Hopper; and his siblings, Stanley Parker, Sr., Eugene Parker, Lawson Parker, Venita Lewis and Brenda Owens.
