It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wade Ballew of Bessemer City, North Carolina, born in Pickens, South Carolina, who passed away on December 7, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Walker and Zona Louise Stroupe Ballew; and his wife Barbara Ann Heffner Ballew. He is survived by: his children, Jeff Ballew (Lena), Dale Ballew (Julie) and Dawn Ballew Ballard (Gary); his sister Glenda Capps; his grandchildren, Jason, Shane, Justin, Kristan, Makayla Ballew, Brandon Ballard, Nathan Bell and Barron Totherow; and his great grandchildren, Cadence, Kaleigh, Hannah, Riley Ballew, Railynn Gamble, Brody Ballard, Claire Dills, Tristan, Evan, Madison and Payten Spencer.
